I’ve been curious about this for a very long time and was wondering what it is exactly they do to make all that gold. And please to whoever reads and writes to it, don’t give me a link to a WoW gold making guide im not interested. And if ANY of you got any leaks from the Gold farmers tell me please but i do highly doubt it lol.
They farm .. mostly for about 15 hours a day….BUT
If you look closely you will see that once they have a sufficient amount of money, they will use it to control the market. Typically a banker /player will note that (example)1 gold bar sells for 1$ to $1.50.
This player will then buy out all of the gold that is below ..say 1.50.
At this point here they then put a large quantity of there own gold on the AH for 1.50 and up. You may also notice that after that they will frequent the AH and buy out the auctions which are priced below whatever price they have set, only to relist it at their own inflated price.
Thereby ensuring that 3/4 of what is available is not only their auction ,,, but at a price of their own design.. seem similar to R/L anyone? lolz
Most of them believe it or not just farm easy to sell crafting materials. However, i see in the near future that they will get their gold by hosting casinos as that is legal now.
They steal accounts(like doing that recent e-mail thing I believe Blizzard warned everyone about on the main page), jack up prices on AH, and they do professions like skinning and leatherworking being one of the more popular choices. They pretty much just do that all day long and screw up the economy. They’re just a nuisance that needs to be taken care of permanently. Nothing good comes from them.
Farm things that are needed for quests…many people don’t have time to do it themselves.
