It takes me forever to make enough gold to get something I want. II look in the Auction House and see a valuable item for a level 20 at a rediculious price of 50g! What level 20 can afford that?
How do players in World of Warcraft make so much gold, so fast? How can I make a lot of gold so i can get items that i really need?
and dont tell me to grind, i already know that takes a long time.

The first thing I would do is start running the low level instances, and selling tthe drops. Even "trash" items have a selling price.
The next thing, is stay away from the AH (Buying). Get with people instance hopping. Get in a guild and go with other guildies into the iinstances. Go on thottbot and find out where the item that you want drops, and what mob drops it, and then get a group together and kill it.
Also look at the trade skills… If you are a skinner, look at what a stack of what you are capable of skinning is selling for in the AH. If it is selling for 50 sil a stack, then in 2 stacks, you have made a gold, give or take the auction fee.
One thing to avoid though, is sitting in a town, on the main channel, and asking people to give you gold. This is not a way to make friends or influence people.

they farm it. most are chinese players just farming for gold 24×7. many people use bots to do the farming for them. they find out what items give the most money and are the fastest kills and they just do that over and over and over.
learn mining and herb,you will get alot of gold while leveling up.
i can get 300+ golds when i’m level 30
It depends… level 19 stuff will sell well because people are making twinks for PvPing.
Most people have a main that makes a lot of gold and then supplies their alts with the cash.
Best way to make money at your level is two gathering professions. I like skinning and herb, but any combo of herb/skinning/mining will do.
There’s no "quicK" way to make it at 20.
you can buy gold.. and get your account banned.
you could have a main to suppply it (which seems like you dont)
or you can grind. do quests, get two gathering professions and download auctionner addon so that you can get the best price possible on the auction house.
As was aleady said, the best thing to do at the lower levels is to get to gathering professions. I like skinning and mining, but herbalism is ok also. Just skin and mine everything, wait til you get a stack of whatever and sell it.
In addition, running lower level instances will net you some cash as well. Roll greed on as much stuff as possible. Vendor any BOP greens/blues that you win that are not upgrades. Auction any BOE greens/blues that you win.
Instances are also a great place to get linen/wool/silk/etc. Also auction, don’t vendor any stacks that don’t need for your first aid.
As you get higher level the money issue will be less of a factor especially if you have the two gathering professions. Thorium/Mithril ore/bars still sell for a very good amount. Rugged leather is a good seller.
There is no EASY way to get gold. It all involves some work. How much you are willing to put into your grinding/professions/questing will determine how much you get in return.
I hate to say it, but a lot of players don’t farm for their gold, they buy it…I don’t do it, or reccomend it, because it can get your account banned.
I personally have been able to make tons of gold by doing dungeons like Wailling Caverns over and over until I was too high level, you can sell all of the drops in there on the AH, and you don’t have to sell them for 12g a peice or anything stupid like that.
My level horde shaman had enough gold to buy her mount, and lend my friend gold for his mount by the time I was level 30 just by doing that…it’s a short instance (reasonably anyways) and tons of drops.
First of all, most of the time if you see a valuable item around level 20 at insane prices, it’s more than likely a blue and level 19. Many people create an alternative character and only level it to 19 and get the best armor and weapons they can buy/instance for.
This is called a "Twink". They take these "Twinks" into battlegrounds and destroy everything in site, so basically it is a guaranteed win.
To make a lot of money, if you are low level, keep questing and killing humanoid creatures. Not only do they drop greens and sometimes a blue, they drop money as well.
Also, instead of creating a "making" profession, stick with gathering like skinning/herbalism or skinning/mining. The reason why I don’t say herbalism/mining is because you need to track these items to gather them and you can only track one at a time.
Ya most of those auctions are by people who want to find some guy that some how has a lot of money. but really dont worry about it. most poeple make money by playing with friends. you shouldn’t really worry that much about it. i know a lot of people get money from their higher levels. i get my money from my friends and from questing. also i would recamend skinning because it is really good for making money
Mine ore and sell in AH or resell things in the AH for higher prices than you bought them for.
