there are a couple of good ways to make gold. My favorite is to sell mat’s in the auction house. Often the materials used to make an item will sell for more than the item itself. Another good one is to buy limited item recipes and resell them in the auction house. A recipe that you bought for 25s will often sell for 2-3 gold because other people dont know where to find it or are to lazy to go get it or because of a low chance for the vendor to have it

Just make sure your profession is one of the gathering professions. It is not uncommon for lower level players to take up 2 gathering professions early on to help make gold quickly.
Get all the herbs and ores you can, and sell them. It will make you some gold over time. Also.. Get the Auctioneer Mod, and install that. you can search the AH for items, and buy them and resell them. You have to watch what you are buying, but with a little bit of gold, and some knowledgeable buying, you can double your money very easily in the AH. You have to remember that some people will do anything to undercut other people just to get their items sold. So let them all undercut you. But the items. I used to post auctions for potions, and i wouldnt think twice about buying potions that people listed under the price i was listing them at. So for example. If i am listing potions for 40G for a stack of 5 potions, and someone has 3-4 stacks of 5 up there at 35g, ill buy them, and then ill list them at my 40g price. So i just made 15-20 gold just to remove the undercutting buyers.
I make anywhere from 2-3 thousand gold a week selling flasks for level 80 raiders. I dont even farm my own materials now, i just buy the stuff in bulk, and for every flask i sell i make 20 gold after the costs of the materials buying from the AH. If i get lucky and score a great deal in the AH like if someone mis marked an item… say a stack of 20 frost lotus for 50 gold instead of the 200-300 gold they should, my profit just went to about 35gold per flask. at 20 flasks <or more possibly from getting extra procs> i just made 700 gold. so its the difference of 300 gold.
Right now, i have sitting in my bags the mats for 50 more flasks, and ive already got 50 made. Ill post those 50 on Tuesday when everyone that raids buys them. If no one is online early, and there isnt any listed, i start at 75g, if i start at 75 and get someone to buy them at that price, i am making about 45g per flask in profit.
So.. USE THE AH… it is YOUR BEST FRIEND.
Also… You do know, that you can get your mount at level 30 now, and that the level 40 requirement was lifted about 6 months ago?
