I’m looking for ways to earn gold in World of Warcraft that does not involve using the Auction House (the server is very young). Does anyone have any strategies for this? My character is level 25 right now. Thanks.

Short Answer: No, the auction house has always been my main source of income. White, Green and up items always sell at least 150% of vendor price.
More thought-out answer: Aside from the auction house, questing can also be a source of income, as well as humanoid mobs. Humanoids almost always drop copper (and eventually) silver while Beast mobs (Spiders and boars, etc) usually just random body parts (which can still, and should, be sold anyways)
Other than that, provided your not completely shunning the Auction House, I’d say sell any stacks of cloth you’re not using, or other mats useful for other professions.
Questing and grinding (humanoid creatures drop money).
