So I have a level 80 hunter with no professions -_-
I was wondering what would be the best to start doing…
I have already picked up skinning and leatherworking if you have a better idea let me know

Skinning/Leatherworking is a good choice for a hunter. While low-level leatherworking creates only leather, higher-level leatherworking creates both leather and mail. (Blacksmithing only creates low-level mail; it creates plate at higher levels.)
I would seriously suggest Blacksmithing and Mining as an alternate. When you hit the later levels, the hunter is able to wear something stronger than leather, and you’ll want to be able to make the better armor for yourself if that’s the reason you went into leather working.
I used to have skinning and LW. I switched to mining and engineering mostly for the additional ports. Did I mention I make my own bullets?
if your going for the money then you should pick 2 of the following:
enchanting
mining
Herbalismim
or skinning
if your going to really use your professions to upgrade your toon then i would have to say minning and engineering are the best for hunters
actually it can also vary within different races. I mean a dranei hunter can be good for JC and mining. you get a +5 for JC when you start your Draenei hunter.
no skinning leatherworking is great dont change it. you can make lots of gold selling the leather you dont use anymore and you can make pretty good (pre raiding) gear for yourself at later lw levels.
This depends on several things…however, since you already said you are level 80, I’m guessing you didn’t choose leatherworking to create your own gear as you level. *points for paying attention*? lol
Personal choice for the most part at this point I would say.
I’m not sure what race you are, because your racial passive abilities can help one choose a profession.
For example, my Hunter is a Tauren.
So perhaps one would say skinning and herbalism would be good profession choices because hunters can always find things to skin while they quest or grind and Taurens have a racial ability that boosts their herbalism skill.
Draenei have JC.
Dwarves have a gun specialization.
Gnomes have Engineering specialization.
Humans have Mace/Sword and Spirit specializations.
NE’s have the shadowmeld, Rogues/Druids have Illusiveness.
BE’s have enchanting specialization.
Orcs have an increased pet damage talent.
Trolls have the bow specialization.
Undead can eat their kills… ?
Taking all that into consideration, there are also the profession perks.
I’ll list the info link below.
Hope this helps and good hunting!
skinning and leatherworking, make alot of gold from leatherworking and can make your own epic mail armour pieces.
